Ati Maier was born in Munich in 1962. She studied at both the School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League in New York before obtaining her MFA at the Hochschule fur Angewandte Kunst in Vienna, Austria. Her solo exhibitions include shows at the Dogenhaus Galerie in Liepzig, Germany, the Cardoso-Ribeiro in Berlin and the John Berggruen Gallery in SanFrancisco. She resides in New York.
