Don Snyder is an artist, photographer and educator. He
has been professionally active since 1955 in the
creative exploration of photographic, special effects
film-making, video synthesizer graphics and multimedia
projection art. Snyder is the author of two books on
photography, Aquarian Odyssey and Don Snyder's World
of Photography; he has also taught at several leading
art schools, including the School of Visual Arts, the
Parsons School of Design and the New School. His work
has appeared in many diverse publications, and
performances, exhibitions and film screenings have
been held at a number of prominent New York
institutions, including The Museum of Modern Art,
which also features his work in the permanent
collection.
